Reprezentanca U15 ostala brez Evropskega prvenstva
Slovenska reprezentanca U15 je v petek pričela s kvalifikacijami za EP 2021, ki bo julija potekalo na Portugalskem. V petek je bila na sporedu prva tekma proti domačinom iz Malte, kjer so Slovenci morali priznati premoč gostitelju in izgubili z visoko razliko. Slovenci so imeli sicer še možnost za uvrstitev na EP, ob primeru, če bi v soboto premagali reprezentanco Francije.
Včeraj je bila tako na sporedu druga kvalifikacijska tekma za EP na Malti. Slovenci so se proti Francozom nadejali dobrega rezultata, realnost na bazenu pa je bila drugačna. Slovenci so znova visoko izgubili proti nasprotniku iz Francije (17:5) in se v domovino vračajo brez uvrstitve na Evropsko prvenstvo.
Kljub slabim rezultatom, našim fantom ni kaj za očitati, saj so imeli vsega štiri skupne treninge. Kvalifikacije bodo tako štele kot izjemno dobro izkušnjo naših mladih fantov.
