Calcit Kamnik se veseli zgodovinskega naslova!
Včeraj smo spremljali četrto tekmo finala državnega prvenstva v vaterpolu. Nasproti sta si že četrtič stala kamniški Calcit in Tiglav iz Kranja. Kranjčani so na prejšnji domači tekmi znižali vodstvo Calcita na 2:1 in upali na izenačenje na četrti tekmi. A upe Triglavanov so pokopali Kamničani, ki so osvojili tretjo zmago v finalni seriji in se veselili zgodovinskega naslova.
Kamnik je prvič državni vaterpolski prvak. V napeti tekmi, kjer ni manjkalo grobosti, rdečih kartonov in nervoze, so srečnejšo potegnili Kamničani, ki so vodili večji del tekme. Triglav je v zadnjem delu celo povedel, nato oa se je zaiskrilo med Kamničanom Martinom Steletom in Kranjčanom Benjaminom Popovičem. Sodnika sta z izključitvijo brez pravice zamenjave kaznovala le kranjskega vaterpolista in Kamnik je imel do konca tekme igralca več. Z dvema zadetkoma iz najstrožjih kazni je rezultat preobrnil in v Kamniku se veselijo prvega naslova državnih prvakov.

KAM – Stele 4, K. Novak in Bergant 3, Briški 2.
TRI – Justin 4, M. Gostič 2, Pušavec, Rahne, Lah, Vončina in Paunovič 1.
Kamnik je v skupnih zmagah slavil z 3:1.
