V imenu igralcev U-17 se je predstavil domačin Jurij Seljak
Jurij Seljak in Tim Kačič sta mariborski dvojec, ki prihajata iz domačega vateropolskega kluba AVK Maribor. Na novinarski konferenci se je v vlogi igralca predstavil Jurij, sicer sin Jerneja Seljaka, ki je nekoč branil tudi barve slovenske članske reprezentance.
Jurij, ti od vseh najboljše poznaš mariborsko vodo, kakšna je?
“Voda je vredu”, se je na zanimivo vprašanje z nasmehom odvzval mladi vaterpolist in nadaljeval ... “Sicer se z igralci dobro poznamo tudi, ko nismo v bazenu in se radi družimo tudi izven vaterpola. Smo zelo dobro uigrani, saj smo igrali že dve leti nazaj tako v kvalifikacijah, kot tudi na EP do petnajst let. Prav zaradi tega in ker smo dobro trenirali, gremo v kvalifikacijah na zmago”, je samozavestno dejal Jurij.
Igrali ste tudi slovensko člansko ligo, so vas člani v igri dosti”tepli”?
“Borili smo se”, je bil še diplomatski Jurij.
