Keel Cup letos tudi na Bledu
Karavana Keel Cupa bo to poletje obiskala kar tri države. Turnirji v “beach” vaterpolu bodo odigrani v Beli Crkvi, Čačku, Somboru in Zrenjaninu, Herceg Novem in na Blejskem jezeru v Sloveniji.
Na Bledu je bilo prvo prvenstvo Kraljevine SHS v vaterpolu odigrano ravno pred 100 leti. Organizatorji Keel Cupa so imeli že lani velike načrte, a jih zaradi pandemije niso uspeli uresničiti, zato je bil turnir odigran le v Banja Luki, medtem ko je zaradi epidemioloških odpadel v Odžakih, Čačku, Beli Crkvi, Gradcu in Herceg Novem.
Glavni vaterpolski dogodek poletja bo, poleg olimpijskih iger v Tokiu, zagotovo Keel Cup na Blejskem jezeru v Sloveniji, kjer pričakujejo večje število ekip iz tujine. Spektakel je predviden za 28. in 29. avgust, natanko 100 let od prvega prvenstva v vaterpolu, ko je Polet iz Somborja tu postal prvi vaterpolski prvak na tem območju.
